Beautiful music -- joyful and thoughtful, baroque and contemporary -- all musical gems.

Originally composed for the women and girls of the Venetian Ospedali (orphanages), Melodia will give a rare performance of the Gloria in the way it was heard in Vivaldi's day -- with women's voices and instrumentalists.

Plus the world premiere of new commissioned work by Becca Schack: In My End Is My Beginning, a setting of excerpts from TS Eliot's Four Quartets.

Additional works include:
Bach's Wir Eilen Mit Schwachen, Cantata 78
Eric Whitacre's Five Hebrew Love Songs and She Weeps Over Rahoon;
Mendelssohn's Lift Thine Eyes from Elijah

Kyung-A Yoo, piano and organ
Miranda Cuckson & Anna Elashvili, violins
